Entry permits are issued to all visitors, workers, and tourists who wish to enter the country. This permit allows individuals to enter the UAE and obtain the appropriate visa stamp at the airport, port, or land border. Entry permit cancellation in UAE is essential when the individual leaves the country.

The entry permit linked to a tourist visa automatically cancels upon visa expiration or the immigration officer will close it when the tourist departs the UAE for their home country.

For an employment visa, the company is responsible for canceling the entry permit along with the work visa when their employee exits the country.

For UAE residents who sponsor their family or friends, it is their responsibility to cancel the entry permit when their dependents return to their home country.

As I mentioned above, there are three ways to cancel entry permission. The following section of this post will teach you how to cancel an entry permit for the UAE without a lengthy process.

1. Cancel on the ICP Channel:

If your entry permit has been issued from another emirate, not in Dubai, then you should use the ICP (Federal Authority for Identity Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security) website or their application.

2. UAEICP smartphone app:

Alternatively, you can download the UAE ICP smartphone app supported by both ISO and Android.

1. Register as a user or use a UAE pass to log in.
2. Head over to the service section and
3. Tap on the entry permit cancellation.

8. Cancel with Government Establishment;

The UAE government has developed various customer happiness centers across the UAE to make it easier for people to get government services without having to visit main government facilities.

Visit the nearest canter, fill out the entry permit cancellation form, pay the associated charge, and wait for approval, which can take up to three days.

3. Cancel with Typing centers;

Private enterprises in the UAE provide government services with certain charges, but they must first obtain a license from the Ministry. In the United Arab Emirates, they are known as typing centers.

Visit the typing center and fill out the entry permit cancellation form. Provides the necessary documentation and pays the typing center and government fees.

Employees at the typing center will complete the rest of the work and notify you when the application has been approved by the government.

Communication During the Process:

Whether you use a typing center, website, app, or Customer Happiness Center for entry permit cancellation in the UAE, you will receive a text message or email confirming the creation of the request.

Once all conditions are met and the application is approved, you will receive a notification via the provided email and phone number.
