SEHA Abu Dhabi is the Health Services company and the largest healthcare network in the UAE. It is one of the private’s hospital networks that is authorized by the UAE government for pre-employment health screening in Abu Dhabi.

Pre-employment health screening is a compulsory process in which migrant employees receive a medical check-up to assess whether they have any infectious disease or not?

Every emirate has a foreign labor health screening facility including Dubai, similarly, Seha and the Department of Health facilities are in Abu Dhabi.

How to apply for Seha pre-screen request?

If you are 18 years old and want to reside in the UAE, you must receive a health certificate from an accredited health care center to show that you are safe from communicable diseases.

Step 1: Visit the Seha Abu Dhabi official website and go over the patient’s services. From the drop-down menu choose the pre-employment health screening services. If you are new for this website create an account and request for the appointment.

If you are coming through the company, the PRO (public relations officer) or representative will apply for you. Just attend the Seha medical facility on the given date and complete the screening process.

Step 2: If you need to register yourself, do online, and book a medical screening date. You can pay the fee in cash at the Seha health care center or use debit or credit cards for online payment.

SEHA Abu Dhabi All Fees

  • Hepatitis B vaccine (for specific categories)= AED 50
  • Residency visa medical check-up certificate= AED 250

Step 3: Seha Abu Dhabi visa medical timings is 24hrs to 48hrs after medical testing.

Step 4: Collect the medical report from the Seha office on the date stated in your medical card. If you are busy your representative or your friends can collect the report on behalf of you.

Conclusion: Whether you complete medical screening in the Seha Abu Dhabi Health Services Centre or any Department of Health (DOH) facility, the examination is the same. If you have passed the test, you or your company can apply for a residence visa. Your residence permit will be denied in the event of a failure.
