Abu Dhabi police have imposed a new traffic fine on drivers who are jumping on the red line and insolent driving. Traffic fine in Abu Dhabi can go up to 51 thousand UAE dirham and also vehicles impoundment.
The most severe penalties have imposed after a harassing traffic violation occurred while Abu Dhabi police had discounted some traffic fines during the pandemic. These high penalties aim to discorage reckless behaviors on the road.
While on the road, make sure you are under the surveillance of mobile and fixed camera tracking and radar detection. These technologies are the primary sources of information to the Abu Dhabi police on traffic violations.

The police also said that the impounded vehile is not claimed by anyone after paying the fine. The police have the right to auction off the vehicle three months after the date of the impoundment.
