How does it work, the formula has been given below, and the overtime in public holidays has been excluded compensatory the 1 day off because most of the employees are granted by the employer.

Regular Overtime (Between 4:00 AM and 10:00 PM):

  • Formula: Overtime Pay=(Basic Hourly Wage×1.25)×Overtime Hours

2. Night Overtime (Between 10:00 PM and 4:00 AM):

  • Formula: Overtime Pay=(Basic Hourly Wage×1.50)×Overtime Hours

3. Overtime on Rest Days:

  • Formula: Overtime Pay=(Basic Hourly Wage×1.50)×Overtime Hours

4. Overtime on public holidays;

  • Formula: Overtime Pay=(Basic Hourly Wage×1.50)×Overtime Hours + 1 day off
  • Without 1 day off Formula: Overtime Pay=(Basic Hourly Wage×2.50)×Overtime Hours
